Sometimes this job means we get to find our people. And when Lou emailed us 18 months before her wedding with a clear vision we knew that the Newman wedding was going to be nothing short of epic, and that we had found our people in these two lovebirds.
Surrounded by the beautiful Wairarapa hills Lou and Jack said I-Do in front of their friends and family and of course their fur baby Cooper! The night was spent eating delicious mexican food, dancing to great tunes and celebrating a their true, authentic love.
We love you guys.
Rebekah + Scott
Wellington put on a real show for Rebekah and Scotts big day. The couple celebrated their love story in style in the coolest little capital with friends and family and the most wonderful moody spring evening.
Little did Beks know that when she enquired with us that our story had in fact started over 15 years ago. When Natalie use to hang out at scotts house after school while her mum was at work. Its funny how the world always seems to come back in full circles doesn't it?
Congratulations you two love birds, thank you for bringing us along for the ride!
Olivia + Terry
When Olivia and Terry told us their plans for their big day we were so excited. A small intimate affair in the backyard, a first look in the forest and their closest friends and family... yes please!
These two lovebirds were so lost in one another as we spent the morning playing in the light, it was an absolute joy and privilege to capture the moments of their wedding for them to look back on.
Summer Mini Sessions
We love it when we have the chance to do mini-sessions. Like the name suggests, they are short little sessions, in a fun location, where we get to spend 20 minutes together hanging out and capturing some fun images. They are the perfect time to update the family photos and capture a few memories for an affordable price!
Here are a few snaps from our recent Spring Sessions in Wellington, New Zealand.
Leanne + Chris
We were both so excited when Leanne and Chris got engaged. I have known Leanne since we were about 7 years old so both Greg and I were super honoured and excited to be asked to photograph their big day.
Held at Chris' parents beautiful home the day was centred around family and love and it was honestly perfect. Leanne, you looked so stunning, and Chris you scrubbed up pretty well too. Thank you so much for including us in so many ways in your amazing wedding. We loved it!
Michael + Marnie + Jake
Seriously guys, babies are just the sweetest little things. We got to hang out with Michael and Marnie and their new little guy Jake in the park around the corner from their house on a warm summers afternoon and capture a few moments to start off their new adventure.
Claire + Jarrod
Claire and Jarrod got in touch and wanted to celebrate their pending nuptials with a little photo shoot in the city. Melbourne put on a beautiful day and we wandered around and had a few laughs. Little did we know that only a few weeks later these loves birds eloped! Talk about romantic.
Sophie + Mike
We met Sophie and Mike the morning after their wedding after they flew in from overseas! We had such a great day hanging out with them and their awesome bridal party. We explored some of Wellington Cities favourite spots even though the wind was freezing! Luckily the sun came out and kept us all warm while we celebrated these two and their seriously beautiful love.
Kate + Felix
Kate and Felix hung out with us on one of the last days in Winter just as it was starting to warm up and remind us summer wasn't far away. We managed to catch the last light of the day on the coast of Wellington, the sun was setting the sea was rolling in and these two were looking like absolute babes. What a day.
Rebecca + Warren
We met Bec and Warren the morning of their wedding, they had flown in from overseas to celebrate with some of their nearest and dearest. The intimate gathering was at a beautiful waterfront venue, filled with happiness and love and so much laughter.
Thanks so much for having us guys.
Shelley, Tagi and the family
It was such a pleasure to photograph this gorgeous family. There was just so much love between them all they made our job seriously easy. Shelley warned us early on that her youngest daughter might not like having her photo taken, but after a few minutes running around together she couldn't get enough of the camera. It was just so much fun!
Thanks for letting us spend some time and get to know you guys. You rule.
Sarah + Craig
Only a few days after Sarah and Craig got engaged we walked around a local garden and spent the afternoon playing with light and taking photos. They were so full of excitement and love, it was so much fun learning about their story and capturing the start of their next chapter.
Lynda + Keith
It took these two about 20 years to finally have the wedding they always talked about, but you know what, someones good things take time. Keith and Lynda celebrated their love and their family with the people who meant the most to them. It was full of love and laughter and the cutest little flower girl who we have ever seen!
Sarah + Daniel
Hanging out with Sarah and Daniel was awesome. These two were so excited about capturing some memories they were up for everything, including climbing giant boulders and exploring the riverside. We had a blast photographing these two. Seriously, babes right?
Anita + Lio
Anita and Lio tied the knot on a winters day a few hours outside of Wellington City. Being the optimistic and humble people that they are a little rain didn't slow us down and we spent the afternoon together before snuggling up next to an open fire for a major family celebration.
